Mobile App

TipTraxx is available for Apple (iOS) and Android mobile operating systems via App Store and Google Play. The phone App is for truck drivers. As long as you have a smart phone that isn’t more than a few years old, you can record your loads on TipTraxx!

Web App

The TipTraxx system doesn’t need any specific software loaded or days of work by IT people, it was designed to be easy to use and convenient to access.
Your daily interactions with TipTraxx will be via the Web App that is available on any computer, anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection.

Data Storage & Security

TipTraxx is hosted using Tier 1 cloud services where it takes advantage of the same secure-by-design infrastructure, built-in protection, and global network to protect information, identities, applications, and devices.

How it Works

Asset Upload
Vehicle and Driver details are uploaded onto the TipTraxx system via the web based application using an easy to use ‘set-up’ wizard. There is also a provision to bulk upload so large fleet owners can save time on manually inserting data.

Customer Upload
Client and Project Details are then added to the TipTraxx system. Vehicles, Drivers, Customers and Projects are only added to the system one time, once they are set up, you won’t need to worry about it again.

ALLOCATION
Through the web application, the Allocator can then allocate jobs to the driver who is matched to the correct vehicle configuration. The driver accesses the job details using a mobile device app and goes about their day the same way they always have.

LOAD DETAILS
The driver enters load details using the mobile device. Just tap a few buttons and it’s done. The app was designed so even the least technical person can use it with ease. If you have more demanding requirements on certain sites, the TipTraxx phone app accomodates weighbridge dockets, down time, tolls and much more!

RESULTS
As soon as the driver enters any information on the mobile device app, it automatically uploads onto the system and can be viewed by the Allocator or other key personnel in real time.

How much is TipTraxx?

Our aim is to make TipTraxx affordable for business owners, particularly the smaller businesses.

TipTraxx is offered as a subscription service (pay as you go) and will be charged on a per truck, per day basis, billed monthly. Tiptraxx costs the equivalent of a cup of coffee per truck per day for the basic paperless docket system.

Compared with all other costs associated with operating a Tipper, this is highly competitive and could be cheaper than buying actual docket books!

What type of mobile device is needed to access the mobile app?
Any current phone or tablet can be used to download and access the mobile app, it can be Android or Apple
Do I need a mobile device that is already connected to a phone network to use the mobile app?
Yes, TipTraxx will need to transfer data via a mobile phone network.
Will I need network coverage to use the mobile app to record loads using TipTraxx?
No! Even if you don’t have access to the network or WIFI, you can still enter loads into the TipTraxx phone app. Once you get back to a network coverage area or get WIFI access, anything you have entered into TipTraxx phone app will automatically upload to the TipTraxx system and database.
Will the phones or tablets consume much data whilst in operation?
No, our system is designed to consume the minimum possible data.
What type of computer will I need to access the web app?
Any current computer with internet access can be used to access the web app, it can be a Mac or PC.
Do I need to be an IT expert to install and set-up TipTraxx?
No, TipTraxx has been designed to be used by the everyday person. There are simple to follow instructions in the system and your TipTraxx business partner will help if you have any questions. We can also provide a full-service set-up for a small cost.
What if my drivers don’t like technology?
During the development of TipTraxx we have tested the phone app screens with tipper drivers to make sure they are easy to understand and use. It is possible that your drivers may require minimal training to make them feel more comfortable with the system. We have a short video as the first point of reference, otherwise your TipTraxx partner will be more than happy to assist you with some additional training support.
What type of internet browser is required to access the web app?
Most of the popular web browsers can be used to access the web app including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari.
What if the driver’s phone is out of network range, how will the load information get uploaded?
If the driver is out of phone coverage, the load information will be stored on the phone and automatically upload once the driver is back in the network range.
Will I need to download any specific TipTraxx software to use the web app?
No, our web app is Cloud based and can be accessed at any time from any computer, anywhere in the world.
What do you mean by cloud based?
We do not rely on storing data on hard drives or computers, this is how things used to be done but there was always the risk of data loss. Tiptraxx sends all data to a Tier 1 Cloud, a subsidiary of one of the largest companies in the world and a global benchmark. We have invested in high quality cloud storage solutions to protect your data and ensure best in class up-time.
Can TipTraxx be transferred to another company?
No, once TipTraxx is set up for a specific business in the system, it cannot be changed.
Will I get a daily report of the all the load details for the trucks?
Yes, it will be sent out at a set time of your choosing. You can also grant access to TipTraxx to whoever you like and they can also review reporting.
Can I add more trucks to my subscription?
Yes, you can do this yourself and will be billed according to the number of trucks on the system.
